Construction Jobsite Dashboard
Background
A general contractor was looking for a solution to capture key project information and make it available to all employees. Jobsite information was held by individual employees, with no easy way to share it. As a result, employees were required to ask multiple colleagues to obtain critical project details.
Challenges
- Employees struggled to find the proper contact information for specific projects to access key project information.
- Employees had to call or email to access jobsite instructions and directions.
- Employees struggled to find related information, such as permitting regulations and requirements from previous jobs in the surrounding area.
Our Results
Significantly reduced the volume of emails and phone calls by offering a central repository for key job site information.
Increased employee productivity by enabling quick access to job site information and files.
Enhanced the visibility of critical jobsite information for executives and employees, which was essential for mitigating risks and staying on schedule.
Our Solution
- Our team created a project dashboard and map that was integrated into the company’s current data management tool to display current job status, leadership personnel, key dates and address information, which were used to plot points on a map.
- Employees can quickly find needed information by searching with parameters like Project Manager, Superintendent, and jobsite name.
- Ensured the availability of key information and saved employees time by allowing them to quickly find essential jobsite details without needing to locate and interrupt colleagues.
