Our Work

Shared Stockholder Calendar

Our Discovery

The admin team of a client was experiencing pain in managing the picking process and calendar of their two properties they offer to their stockholders throughout the year. The entire process was completely manual, all the way to taking screenshots of the calendars for each property and sending it out to stockholders for them to see what dates were available.

As you could imagine, this was a task that was taking tens of hours to complete, instead of what should be minutes with automation.

Key Challenges

  • Admins were spending countless hours manually sending out available dates in a rotation for stockholders to pick the property and dates they would like
  • If a stockholder wanted to see updated property availability at any time, they would have to email the admin team
  • All requests for reserving this property was done through email
  • Difficulty in tracking which person submitted their preferences and when

Our Results

Reduced the time instructors spent on data entry, allowing them more time for instruction and student engagement

Reports provided real-time insight into students performance, leading to more informed and timely educational interventions

The user-friendly management tool in the Power App enabled instructors to better manage classes and students, making the system highly extensivle and adaptable to future changes or growth

Our Solution

To address these challenges, we developed a tailored solution that integrated Power Apps and Power BI.

Our solution was to develop a custom tool on Azure and SharePoint where all stockholders could submit requests through a simple, smart request form, and admins had the ability to approve or decline requests. Additionally, admins are able to view and manage requests all in one place. By utilizing a form, we were able to easily send automated notifications to stockholders
