A Leadership team for a prominent construction company was struggling to track and measure annual corporate and employee goals. They preferred not to use a third party tool as they couldn’t find a single tool that met all of their needs.
They had an existing tool in place for managing goals, but each year that were struggling for the tool to get traction and have users consistently update their goals.
Key Challenges
- The executive team lacked visibility of progress that was being made on the goals
- Management team couldn’t tell of goals were on track or at risk of getting complete
- Employees would forget to update their goals
- There was a lack of accountability with the previous tool

Our Solution
Through a feature analysis and deep dive, we were able to create an experience with SharePoint and Power Automate efficiently manage both individual as well as corporate goals. We built the tool with features to help drive accountability and visibility:
- Automated notifications: Remind users if they needed to update action items completed for their goals, or notify if they were at risk of not completing.
- Progress Tracking: Ability for all team members to view steps that have been completed towards completing the goal, as well as enabling teams to communicate directly within the goal
- Dashboards & Reporting: Provided insights to the management team on progress and goals that were at risk
This tool has provided additional features that they felt were required in order to have a successful goal management solution and now the management and executive teams have the proper insights to understand where their respective team members are with their goals.
