Our Work
Jobsite Directory
Our Discovery
A general contractor client was looking for a way to help visualize their jobsites that would make it easy for their employees to find key information about a specific jobsite.
All previous and current jobsite information was considered domain knowledge and employees had to talk to multiple people before finding key information about a jobsite.
Key Challenges
- Employees had a difficult time finding contact information for a specific projects
- Employees had to call or email for directions to a specific job site
- Users were not able to find what jobs had previously been completed in a specific area
Our Results
Reduced emails and phone calls by having a central location for key jobsite information
Increased employee productivity by enabling employees to quickly get to jobsite information and files
Increased visibility to executives and employees for pertinent jobsite information
Our Solution
Our strategy was to develop a map that plugged into the company’s current data management tool to collect up to date job status, leadership personnel, and address, which we used to plot points on a map.
It was important to provide not only key information about the jobsite, but also provide an avenue for employees to quickly get to the project files for that jobsite.
With the ability to search by Project Manager, Superintendent, Jobsite name and other information, employees found it easy to quickly find pertinent information regarding jobsites.
